Elliot Chang
L4 Senior Performance Coach


As a Junior player Elliot won Tennis Europe U14 and ITF U18 Titles whilst based at the LTA National Academy in Loughborough. Elliot then went on to secure a Tennis Scholarship at the University of New Mexico NCAA Div1 #33 before returning to Captain Leeds Met University to BUCS Premier League and European Titles. In 2012 he won the gold medal at BUCS Nationals in the Men's Doubles. Elliot has also represented Yorkshire County Men’s Team for over 10 years, playing in Summer and Winter County Cup Division 1.
After graduating in 2012 Elliot worked outside of tennis for 18 months before returning to take up a role to lead the Performance Programme at Hallamshire Tennis Club, Sheffield. Here he was responsible for the planning and delivery of all squad sessions for County / Regional Level Juniors and for developing performance criteria for Performance Sessions. In September 2015 Elliot moved to Bolton Arena where he took up the position of Performance Coach, coaching National / International Level Juniors and leading Squad Sessions with other key Academy players. Elliot helped to plan session content, as well as helping to shape the identity of the Academy in its RPDC capacity. During his time at Bolton Arena Elliot coached players who won Grade 1 & 2 National Events, represented Great Britain, and won Tennis Europe Titles. In August 2019 Elliot coached two players who won their respective National Championship Titles (Boys U16 & Boys U18).
In September 2019 Elliot joined the Cultiv8 Coaching Team. He adds experience to the Team, providing an understanding of the tennis journey from a player's perspective. Elliot is committed to the wider development of players to maximise potential.
